Introduction
We have established the following policies to provide the best information possible.
For details on purchasing to attend any of our training sessions, please refer to our Training Policies. This includes cancellations, rescheduling, transfers, refunds, and other related matters.
State and local laws are subject to change at any time without notice to Utah FAST or our distributors. Utah FAST makes no legal representation regarding the purchase, possession, or ownership of any product sold on this website. Products, such as firearms, firearm parts, kits, ammunition, magazines, accessories, pepper spray, batons, tasers, body armor, ballistic plates, etc., may be restricted or prohibited in your area. Please refer to theĀ State RestrictionsĀ tab and contact your local retailers for further details.
Utah FAST reserves the right to refuse the sale of any product, determine the appropriate action for any situation, and cancel any order for any reason.
The customer must thoroughly check all local, city, state, county, and federal laws BEFORE placing an order. This is a crucial step to ensure compliance and avoid any legal issues.Ā By purchasing any product on this website or on any website we control or advertise through, the customer agrees to assume all responsibility and liability for the use of the purchased product. The customer also agrees to use the product solely for its intended purposes and not for any illegal or unethical purposes.
General Product Information
All products, including titles, pricing, inventory, images, descriptions, and features, are automatically imported and created using integrated software from information provided by a distributor. Occasionally, a product may appear by mistake or contain errors. Utah FAST does not guarantee that it will match the physical product exactly. The customer is responsible for checking and verifying the UPC number. Do not rely solely on the product title, images, or details for accurate information.
When placing an order, the customer agrees that Utah FAST will be the final arbiter of any discrepancies regarding the product. Utah FAST reserves the right to cancel any order due to these errors. If an error is discovered, Utah FAST will take the proper steps to correct it. If you have any questions or would like to confirm product information, please contact us before making a purchase. We want you to be happy with your purchase and receive what you expected, but we cannot inspect every product for possible errors.
Order Processing And Fulfillment
Utah FAST accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. All payments are processed immediately upon placing theĀ order.
Utah FAST attempts to verify, using available information, that a purchased product does not violate any local, city, state, county, or federal laws or regulations. This includes firearms, ammunition, magazines, parts, accessories, and other related products. Orders that are found to violate any State RestrictionsĀ will be canceled.
- Orders are processed as soon as possible, in the order received, but may take up to 5 business days. After an order is submitted to a distributor for fulfillment, Utah FAST has no control over how long the distributor will take to process, fulfill, or ship the order or a partial order, which may result in an additional 10-14 business days.
- Orders that multiple distributors are fulfilling will result in an increased processing time.
- Orders that include a product that cannot be dropshipped will result in increased processing time and incorrect initial tracking information.
PleaseĀ contact us if you have any questions. However, we cannot provide time estimates for order fulfillment from a distributor.
Changing, Modifying, or Substituting
We strive to serve our customers to the best of our ability and understand that mistakes can occur. However, an order cannot be changed, modified, or substituted after it has been placed.
Utah FAST willĀ NOTĀ provide an exchange, substitute, replace, or change orders to meet any legal requirements of your local, city, county, state, or federal law or regulation. Firearms, magazines, ammunition, firearm parts, and accessories that violate local or state laws will not be shipped with the order and are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund.
Drop Shipping
Some manufacturers do not permit dropshipping, and some distributors do not offer dropshipping directly to customers or FFL dealers. This means that regardless of how an order is selected for delivery, the product must first be shipped to our location. Then, Utah FAST pays for the product to be shipped again to the customer or FFL dealer. This will result in specific orders taking longer to transit, as they are shipped twice to reach their final destination. Utah FAST adheres to the manufacturerās drop-shipping rules. Manufacturers that currently do not allow drop-shipping include:

Coupon Codes & Discounts
- From time to time, Utah FAST offers special promotions and discount codes that can be used on this website. These offers are frequently disseminated via this website, email, or SMS (text) messages to those who have registered to receive them. They are sometimes posted on our website or announced via other communication channels to promote the Utah FAST product collection, including radio and TV broadcasts, internet forums, social media, and various online websites and media outlets. We encourage our customers to redeem these special offers, but we respectfully ask that you not exploit them. At our sole discretion, Utah FAST will determine if all purchasing criteria have been met to qualify for the stated discount. If an individual circumvents or attempts to circumvent the safeguards of this website to receive several discounts on their order. In that case, we will remove any extraneous product from the order or cancel the order in its entirety. The customer will be informed of any order changes via the email address provided with the order.
- Codes and discounts may be available to certain individuals or those with specific authorization. Dissemination of a code or discount, or otherwise obtaining a code or discount, to exploit its use, or if an individual attempts to use a code or discount they are not authorized to use, will result in the order being canceled.
- Codes and discounts may not be valid or available on select products and brands. Sig Sauer products are not eligible for discounting via a coupon code. Gift Cards do not qualify for discounts. Utah FAST will only honor valid and active coupons or codes created by Utah FAST. Random codes found on third-party websites are not always valid and may not be accepted.
Firearm Purchases
Firearms cannot be shipped directly to a customer. All firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms License (FFL) dealer to complete the transfer. It is the customerās responsibility to know and comply with all applicable state laws regarding the purchase and possession of a firearm. Orders that contain a firearm that violates any of theĀ State RestrictionsĀ will be canceled.
- Customers must be at least 18 years old to purchase rifles and shotguns. These firearms may be transferred to a non-resident subject to the laws of the individualās state of residence.
- Customers must be at least 21 years old and a resident of the state to purchase handguns, frames, receivers, pistol-grip-only firearms, NFA firearms (Silencer, Short-Barreled Rifle (SBR), Short-Barreled Shotgun (SBS), Any Other Weapon (AOW), and Machine Gun).
- Exceptions:Ā Military personnel stationed in a state other than their legal residence may purchase firearms across state lines. Contact your local dealer to receive the transfer, as you will need to provide proof of deployment, residence, and other relevant information.
- The transferee/buyer must be the individual who purchased the firearm as shown on the order. If someone other than the individual named on the order attempts to transfer the firearm, the dealer will not complete the transfer.
- If you are not a U.S. citizen, you must meet specific requirements.Ā See the ATF website.
- Customers residing in California, Maryland, and Massachusetts are required to comply with their respective states’ approved handgun rosters. Please see our State RestrictionsĀ for moreĀ information.
- We provide a generalized list of FFL dealers on the checkout page. This list is curated from an ATF registry. This does not imply that we have a relationship with these dealers or that we, or a distributor, currently have a valid copy of the dealerās FFL license. Utah FAST does not verify that an FFL location has agreed to receive a firearm from a distributor or us. It is the customerās responsibility to validate that the dealer is still in business, accepting firearm transfers, and is willing to accept a transfer from Utah FAST or distributors before placing an order. Additionally, if the firearm is a National Firearms Act (NFA) firearm, the dealer must also hold a valid Special Occupational Tax (SOT) license.
- The selected dealer must provide their FFL and, if applicable, their SOT before the firearm can be shipped. It is the customerās responsibility to contact the dealer and have them email their proper licensing documentation toĀ orders@utahfast.comĀ as soon as possible after the order is placed. If we have not received the dealerās licensing documentation within 14 days, the order will be canceled.
NOTE: The transfer process of an NFA firearm requires additional time, documentation, and forms to be completed. This includes completing and submitting an ATF Form 3 (dealer-to-dealer) to the ATF, which typically takes 3 to 10 business days to be approved. The NFA firearm can then be shipped to the FFL/SOT you have selected. You and your dealer must complete the ATF Form 4 (Application for Tax Paid Transfer and Firearm Registration), which requires fingerprints and passport photos for all Responsible Persons, a notarized trust document (if applicable), and submission to the ATF for approval. Approval times vary. Visit the ATF website to see the NFA Current Processing Times.
The $200 Stamp Tax still applies to all machine guns and destructive devices.
Ammunition Purchases
Ammunition product descriptions may include the number of rounds per box and the number of boxes per case. It is the customerās responsibility to know exactly how many rounds of ammunition are being purchased.
- Customers must be at least 18 years old to purchase ammunition used in a rifle or shotgun.
- Customers must be at least 21 years old to purchase ammunition intended for use in handguns.
- The customer must be aware of and comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations.Ā Additional restrictions may apply in your state of residence, such as obtaining a permit or license before purchasing ammunition, requiring a background check to be completed, or shipping to an FFL dealer.
- Residents of Connecticut, Illinois, and New Jersey can upload a copy of their permit, FOID, or FID during checkout.
- Residents of Rhode Island must be at least 21 years of age, hold a Pistol/Revolver Safety Certificate issued by the Department of Environmental Management, and upload a copy of their certificate and their driverās license or state ID during checkout.
Magazine Restrictions
- Laws regarding the sale, possession, and other restrictions on magazine capacity are constantly changing. It is the customerās responsibility to know and comply with all local and state laws regarding magazine capacity restrictions.
- Utah FAST abides by all state regulations regarding the sale and possession of high-capacity magazines. Orders placed by a customer in a state with an active magazine restriction will not be shipped with restricted magazines. Magazines will not be replaced with state-compliant magazines. We do not allow returns, exchanges, or refunds for the restricted magazine(s).
Exceptions
- Law enforcement officers must provide both their credentials and a letter from their departmentās superior officer, signed on official letterhead, stating that the magazine will be used solely in the execution of their duties. Utah FAST only recognizes City Police Officers, County Sheriff Deputies, State Police (including the Highway Patrol), and federal agents as law enforcement. This exemption does not apply to security officers or law enforcement working in an off-duty security officer capacity, and some states may not have law enforcement exemptions.
Shipping And Delays
- Due to the surge in demand in the firearm industry, orders may be delayed in processing. This is because the product was in stock when the order was placed, but it became out of stock with a distributor before the order could be fulfilled. If this occurs, Utah FAST will contact the customer.
- Orders are shipped using a combination of shipping carriers, including the United States Postal Service (USPS), United Parcel Service (UPS), and Federal Express (FedEx). Shipping costs vary depending on the product being purchased, taking into account factors such as size, weight, and the presence of hazardous materials (e.g., batteries). Additionally, each distributor has different shipping costs.
- Shipping addresses cannot be changed after an order has been shipped.
- Ammunition will be shipped via FedEx Ground or UPS Ground. An adult signature is required. Expedited shipping on ammunition is not available.
- Firearms, ammunition, powder, and primers cannot be shipped together. If these products are included in the same order, they will be shipped separately, incurring additional shipping costs and billed separately from the initial order. Utah FAST will contact the customer to collect payment for any additional shipping charges before the order ships.
- If a package is lost during shipping, the customer must notify Utah FAST as soon as possible. We will work with the distributor and carrier to locate the package.
- PleaseĀ contact us if you have any questions. However, we cannot provide time estimates for order shipment from a distributor.
Order Tracking
- Tracking numbers will be provided for your convenience when available.
- For orders that contain a firearm, the tracking number only indicates when the package is scheduled to be delivered to the receiving dealer. It does not indicate whether the firearm is ready to complete the transfer. To avoid unnecessary waiting, you must allow the receiving dealer a minimumĀ of 24 to 48 hours after receiving the firearm to complete the legally required acquisition process.
Order And Shipping Restrictions
- Orders will not be shipped to P.O. boxes. We will only ship to locations in the continental 48 states. Orders with a shipping address in Hawaii (HI), Alaska (AK), Puerto Rico (PR), or any other U.S. territory are currently unavailable.Ā Orders placed from these locations will be canceled.
- If an order cannot be delivered to the shipping address or to an FFL dealer (for firearms), packages are not guaranteed to be held at a carrier hub. It may be returned to Utah FAST or the distributor who shipped the firearm. Additional shipping charges will apply to orders requiring reshipment, and additional restocking fees will apply to orders that are not reshipped.
- All firearms will be shipped to the premise address on the dealerās license. We may contact you to verify the FFL before shipping the firearm. All FFL numbers will be validated throughĀ FFL EZ CheckĀ and must match precisely to avoid delays and/or cancellations.
- Utah FAST abides by all Federal Regulations regarding hazardous materials shipped through the United States Postal Service. A hazardous material is any article or substance designated by the U.S. Department of Transportation as capable of posing an unreasonable risk to health, safety, or property during transportation. This includes but is not limited to minor blast/minor projection hazard (ammunition), oxidizing substances (batteries), flammable solids (black powder), and flammable and combustible liquids (cleaners, oil, and aerosol cans).
- In compliance with federal laws and theĀ International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Utah FAST or a distributor will not ship any applicable product outside the United States.Ā
- We have compiled some information to assist you if a product is restricted in your area. Refer to theĀ State RestrictionsĀ tab for further details.
In-Store Pickup
- In-store pickups at Utah FAST require an appointment. We do not allow walk-ins.
- Utah FAST will contact customers once the in-store pickup is available and provide further instructions on scheduling an appointment.
- For orders containing a firearm, Utah FAST will contact customers once the firearm has been entered into our acquisition records and provide further instructions to schedule an appointment.
- Any appointment scheduled before the customer is notified will be canceled.
Transfer Fees
- Utah FAST has no control over any fees charged by other dealers, which can range from $10 to $150 or more. Our website does not collect this fee. The customer is responsible for paying any additional costs, as required, at the time of the firearm transfer. Please contact your local dealer to inquire about any applicable fees before placing your order.
- When we receive a firearm from another dealer or individual, or if we ship a firearm to another dealer on behalf of a customer, we charge a reasonable fee to facilitate the transfer. All payments must be made before the transfer is completed. A transfer fee does not include the background check fee. For our current transfer fees, please refer to ourĀ Firearm Transfers.
- If Utah FAST receives a firearm from another FFL to be transferred to a customer and the customer receives a background check denial (restricted person), decides not to complete the transfer or wishes to return the firearm for any reason, the customer is responsible for contacting the FFL from whom they purchased the firearm, request a return authorization, and obtain a shipping label. If the FFL does not provide a return shipping label, the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs. All applicable fees, including our transfer fee and background check fee, must be paid before the firearm is shipped. In this case, the firearm is also subject to our Storage Fees as outlined below.
- If Utah FAST receives an NFA firearm, the customer completes and submits the Form 4 to the ATF, then decides to withdraw the Form 4 for any reason, or if the Form 4 is returned as denied for any reason, and the customer decides they do not want to pursue the reason for denial, the customer is responsible for contacting the FFL from whom they purchased the firearm, request a return authorization, and obtain a shipping label. If the FFL does not provide a return shipping label, the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.Ā All applicable fees, including an additional transfer fee of $20.00 for us to complete the required Form 3, submit it to the ATF, and receive approval to return the NFA firearm to the original FFL, must be paid before the firearm is shipped. In this case, the NFA firearm is also subject to our Storage Fees as outlined below.
Background Checks
- A background check must be completed before a firearm transfer can be processed. This is generally conducted through the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) or a state agency if the customer lives in a Point-of-Contact (POC) state.
- Utah FAST has no control over the fees that other dealers may charge for background checks. Our website does not collect this fee. The customer is responsible for paying any additional background check fees, as required, at the time of the firearm transfer. Contact your local dealer to inquire about applicable background check fees before placing your order.
- If a customer has had issues related to mistaken identity or identity theft, the background check may be delayed indefinitely or denied. Anyone can apply for a Voluntary Appeal File (VAF). Still, it is designed for firearm purchasers who believe they are legally allowed to buy firearms but have been denied more than once or frequently experience delays in their transactions. Purchasers sometimes find themselves experiencing delays or denials in firearms purchases because of a past misdemeanor charge or because an ineligible person has a similar name. When you apply for the VAF, FBI personnel will research your case and assign you a Unique Personal Identification Number (UPIN). For more information, see the FBI website for the Firearm-Related Challenge (Appeal) and Voluntary Appeal File (VAF).
Utah
- For all firearms sold or transferred in Utah, a background check is conducted through the Bureau of Criminal Identification (BCI). If it is an NFA firearm, although the ATF completed a background check during the Form 4 approval process, Utah law requires another background check to complete the NFA transfer. For additional information on the Utah background check fee, please refer to our Firearm Transfers.
- If the background check returns a āProceedā or āApprovedā response, the firearm transfer will be completed.
- If the background check is returned with a āDelayed,ā āPending,ā or āResearchā response. In that case, BCI must investigate additional information, and the firearm will not be transferred until a āProceedā or āApprovedā response is received.
- If the background check returns a āDeniedā response or the purchaser is identified as a prohibited person under state or federal law, we will not complete the firearm transfer. The customer is responsible for contacting the FFL from whom they purchased the firearm, requesting a return authorization, and obtaining a shipping label. If the FFL does not provide a return shipping label, the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs. All applicable fees, including our transfer fee and background check fee, must be paid before the firearm is shipped. In this case, the firearm is also subject to our Storage Fees as outlined below. See Causes for Denial of a Purchase on the BCI website.
- If the customer uses their Utah concealed firearm permit to complete the background check and receives a āValidā response, the customer is exempt from paying the background check fee.
- If a customer uses their Utah concealed firearm permit to complete the background check and receives an āInvalidā response, the customer is no longer exempt from the background check fee, and the results described above apply.
All Other States
- For all firearms sold or transferred in any other state, a background check is conducted through the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) or a state agency if the customer lives in a Point-of-Contact (POC) state.
- If the background check returns a āDeniedā response or the purchaser is identified as a prohibited person under state or federal law, the dealer will not complete the firearm transfer. The purchaser is responsible for paying any applicable fees, such as the transfer fee and background check fee, to the dealer. The customer or dealer must then contact Utah FAST and follow all return policies outlined below.
Cancellations
- Orders can only be canceled if the product is at our location and has not been shipped, or if the order has been submitted to a distributor for fulfillment, and the distributor has not shipped the order or partial order, and only if the distributor agrees to cancel the order.
- All canceled orders are subject to a 35% cancellation and restocking fee.
- If an order has already been shipped, it cannot be canceled. The customer must follow all applicable return policies outlined below.
- Canceled orders may not be reversed. All cancellations are final.
Utah FAST Cancellations
- Orders that violate any State RestrictionsĀ will be canceled.
- Orders containing a firearm require the receiving dealerās FFL and SOT for an NFA firearm (if applicable). If Utah FAST or the distributor does not receive the required document(s) within 14 days of the order placement, the order will be canceled.
- Utah FAST reserves the right to cancel orders due to pricing or inventory errors. We do not offer a price guarantee and will not provide a partial refund if the price of a product changes after an order is placed.
- There are increasing cases of fraud in the firearm industry, particularly involving parts, accessories, and optics. We closely monitor all orders for potential fraud and reserve the right to cancel any order we suspect has been involved in fraudulent activity.
- To protect our company and individuals who may be directly affected by fraud, orders cannot be placed if the billing and shipping addresses do not match. This does not apply to orders containing a firearm, as they must be shipped to an FFL dealer.
Storage Fees
As a home-based business, we do not have the space to hold or store customersā orders or firearms for extended periods. To allow sufficient time to pick up an order, storage fees are not charged for the first 14 days (two weeks) after the customer is notified to schedule an appointment. Beginning on the 15th day, we start assessing and charging storage fees. We understand that some situations may prevent a customer from picking up an order or a firearm purchased from us or shipped to us until a later date. In this case, the customer is responsible for contacting Utah FAST and receiving written approval for any modification to this storage fees policy.
Utah FAST is not responsible for any inaccuracies or incompleteness in customer information, including name, phone number, or email address, at the time the order is placed. If Utah FAST receives a firearm or an NFA firearm, we use the information provided to us on the order to contact the customer. If the information is incomplete or unreadable, we will make a reasonable effort to contact the FFL who shipped the firearm or an NFA firearm to obtain the customer’s contact information.
It is not acceptable for a customer to claim they did not receive a call, SMS (text) messages, voicemail, or email due to not answering their phone, low/no volume, checking SMS (text) messages, voicemails, or emails, any spam filter, or any other phone, computer, other electronic device malfunction, or has opted out from receiving SMS (text) messages or unsubscribed from our emails which may affect the ability to receive critical information from Utah FAST.
- All orders that do not contain a firearm will incur a $1.00 per-day storage fee, calculated separately for each product in the order.
- All firearms (pistol, rifle, shotgun, frame, receiver, etc.) and NFA firearms (silencer, Short-Barreled Rifle (SBR), Short-Barreled Shotgun (SBS), Any Other Weapon (AOW), and machine gun) will incur a flat storage fee of $50.00 per serialized item, per month, and is not prorated.
- Storage fees for NFA firearms are not calculated during the ATF approval waiting period, which begins on the date the Form 4 is submitted and continues until the date the Form 4 is approved or denied.
- Scheduling or rescheduling an appointment does not stop storage fees from being assessed.
- Non-Firearm Order Example:
Day 0:Ā Customer is notified that the order is ready for pickup
Day 1:Ā Customer schedules an appointment for pick up on day 17
Day 17:Ā Customer picks up the order
Fees Assessed:Ā $3.00 (day 15, day 16, day 17) - Firearm Example:
Day 0:Ā Customer is notified that the firearm is ready to complete the transfer
Day 1:Ā Customer schedules an appointment for pick up on day 15
Day 15:Ā Customer completes the firearm transfer
Fees Assessed:Ā $50.00 (not including transfer fees and background check fee, if applicable)
Abandoned Property
Abandoned property will result in forfeiture, regardless of where the order was placed and subsequently absorbed into the Utah FAST store inventory. Utah FAST has the right to sell, dispose of, or use any product or firearm in any way it chooses to recoup storage fees and any other applicable fees, with no expectation of further compensation to the purchaser.
- If a customer fails or refuses to pick up an order within 60 days, Utah FAST will consider the property abandoned.
- If a customer fails or refuses to complete a firearmĀ transferĀ within 60 days, Utah FAST will consider the property abandoned.
- If a customerĀ is denied the firearm transfer due to a failed background check, or if the purchaser is identified as a prohibited person under state or federal law. In such instances,Ā Utah FAST will consider the firearm abandonedĀ if appropriate arrangements have not been agreed upon in writing and completed within 60 days.
- If a customer fails or refuses to pay the required storage fees and the order is not picked up or the firearm has not been transferred within 60 days, Utah FAST will consider the property abandoned.
Warranty
- Utah FAST does not offer any warranty, express or implied. For warranty information, contact the manufacturer of the product.
- All products, firearms, and NFA firearms that are identified as āUsedā are sold as āAs Isā. Some manufacturers will honor warranties even if the individual is not the original owner. Contact the original manufacturer for all warranty information requests on used products, firearms, and NFA firearms.
- The manufacturer must address all issues related to ammunition functionality.
- The customer agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Utah FAST and its owners, employees, partners, affiliates, and agents from all responsibility for incidental or consequential damages or claims concerning economic loss, property damage, injury, or death resulting from the use of any product, firearm, or NFA firearm purchased from or transfered by Utah FAST, even if a distributor fulfilled or shipped the product. This includes, but is not limited to, the customer’s failure to use the product lawfully or otherwise than for its intended use, to properly secure a firearm or ammunition, or fails to ensure that any dangerous product, firearm or ammunition is not accessible to a minor or a prohibited person, as defined by state or federal laws, that make it unlawful for specific categories of persons to ship, transport, receive, or possess firearms, ammunition, or other restricted items, even if the product, firearm or ammunition was borrowed, lend to another individual that the individual (customer or any other person) knows or should have reasonably known should not have access to, possession of, or would use the product unlawfully or in any way other than its manufactured and intended use or to commit a crime.
- It is the customerās responsibility to read and follow all information contained in the product ownerās manual, including, but not limited to, proper usage, warnings, labels, advisories, notices, handling, making any adjustments, alterations, or use of non-OEM parts, use of the correct ammunition or the use of defective, low-quality, or reloaded ammunition, or any other safety information, even if not provided by Utah FAST, the manufacturer, distributor, or not included with the product or firearm. If the customer has any questions about the proper use or safety of the product or firearm, contact the manufacturer. An internet search can provide information on almost anything, but it should not be used as a replacement for information from the manufacturer.
- Utah FAST reserves the right to refuse service to anyone, at any time, for any reason; and to cancel any order, at any time, for any reason.
- Any disputes arising from this, or any other policy, shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the laws of the state of Utah.

- Utah FAST reserves the right to modify, alter, delete, and update these policies at any time. Such alterations do not nullify our rights if infringements or breaches occurred under a previous version of these conditions.
- Utah FAST is a licensed business compliant with all applicable local, state, and federal laws.
